' New Rosé, Library Sanford & Benedict Pinot, and More!

Spring is rolling right along in the Sta. Rita Hills. The days are getting warmer, wildflowers are in bloom, and the grapevines are waking up from their winter rest. The weather has been mild overall with just enough heat to get budbreak started. Meanwhile, our 2025 wines are aging in their barrels and beginning to show us their personalities. Pretty soon Ken and Ben will start their tastings and blending trials for the summer bottling runs. In the tasting room, we're gearing up for festival season. We've got great wine tasting events coming up in Santa Barbara, Los Olivos and more. Check out our Calendar of Events for more info.

April's Featured Library Wine

As part of Ken's 50th harvest celebrations, we'll be featuring outstanding older wines in our tasting room throughout the year. These wines will be available to taste and purchase while supplies last. Because they are in very short supply there will be a limit of three bottles per customer.

Our featured library wine for April is our 2016 Sanford & Benedict Vineyard Pinot Noir. S&B retains a lot of body and power even at 10 years old. The color is a deep ruby red with just a sliver of garnet at the edges. On the nose we find hints of dried cherries, leather and violets. The rich, smooth palate features dark chocolate and maraschino cherries, leading to a long finish of berry compote and dark coffee.

Order online or stop by the tasting room to sample the wine today. With just a few cases available this won't stick around for long.
