A NEW VINEYARD-DESIGNATED PINOT FOR THE NEW YEAR
We are very excited to tell you about a new Pinot Noir we’ve made from one of the up and coming stars of Sta. Rita Hills—the Zotovich Vineyard. The Zotovich family is passionate about the meticulous care they give the vineyard, and it shows in the superior quality of the grapes. Our 2012 Zotovich Vineyard Pinot Noir packs incredible richness and beautiful dark berry aromas and flavors. Our production of this wine is exceptionally limited, too small to include in our wine club shipments. That being the case, we gave our Priority Wine Club members the first opportunity to purchase this limited bottling of Zotovich Pinot Noir, but are now offering it to all mailing list subscribers and tasting room visitors.
We encourage Pinot Noir fans to join us at the prestigious World of Pinot Noir event on March 7 at the Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara for a global tasting of this classic varietal.

NEW RELEASE
This vineyard-designated wine is our debut release from the acclaimed Zotovich Vineyard, a family-owned estate located in the northern corridor of cool Sta. Rita Hills. The Zotovich family is dedicated to farming superior quality Pinot Noir that truly reflects the vineyard site. The wine offers pure, dense aromas of black cherry and red plum, accented by hints of dark rose petal, cherry-rhubarb and exotic spice. The flavors are explosive on the palate with fresh notes of dark cherry, a touch of clove and a subtle thread of French oak. The wine’s bright acidity is perfectly balanced by an intrinsic richness, ensuring superb cellar potential and even greater complexity as the wine ages. Only 95 cases made.
