NEW RELEASE
 2015 RADIAN VINEYARD PINOT NOIR
One of the appellation's coldest and most picturesque vineyards, Radian is located in the southwest corner of Sta. Rita Hills, unsheltered from direct exposure to cold winds and marine fog from the Pacific Ocean. Soils are Botella clay heavenly laden with shale rock. Comprised of 53% Pinot Noir clone 115 and 47% clone 667, the wine offers aromas of dark plum, pomegranate, and black raspberry with accents of rose petal, white pepper and minerality. An explosion of gorgeous fruit flavors includes hints of black cherry and blackberry with a touch of espresso and dark chocolate. Outstanding aging potential. Only 271 cases made. More info

VINTAGE 2019: VINEYARD ROUND-UP
This summer's staff field trip took us to the heart of Sta. Rita Hills, checking in at some favorite sites and a new vineyard! Grape development is running several weeks behind normal, with some clusters yet to go through veraison (change of color of the berries).
 John Sebastiano Vineyard ~ A new vineyard for us! Steep, wind-swept estate producing sparse, small clusters with excellent aromatics and flavors. We're sourcing three blocks here: Swan selection Pinot Noir, Clone 667 Pinot Noir and Clone 470 Syrah.
 Sanford & Benedict Vineyard ~ It's always inspiring to visit the birthplace of Sta. Rita Hills! We visited both our Pinot Noir blocks here: Block T6 Clone 667 and Block 4D Clone 943.
La Encantada Vineyard ~ Home to one of our most highly acclaimed Pinot Noirs! Swan selection Pinot Noir.
Radian Vineyard ~ In addition to our two outstanding Pinot Noir blocks (clones 115 and 667), this year we will be sourcing Chardonnay (clone 76) from Radian! Steep rows and low vigor soils.
